Appointment of the Editor-in-Chief

The Editorial Board of the Electronic Journal of Medical Research is pleased to announce the appointment of Professor Dr. Chan Yean Yean, School of Medical Sciences, Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), Malaysia, as the Editor-in-Chief of the journal, effective August 2026.

Professor Dr. Chan Yean Yean was appointed following careful consideration of her distinguished academic achievements, extensive research experience, international scientific collaborations, editorial expertise, and longstanding contributions to the advancement of medical and health sciences. Her appointment reflects the journal's commitment to maintaining the highest standards of scientific integrity, editorial excellence, and ethical publishing.

As Editor-in-Chief, Professor Chan will provide strategic editorial leadership, oversee the peer-review and editorial decision-making processes, uphold the principles of transparency and research integrity, and guide the journal's continued development as an international platform for the dissemination of high-quality medical research.

The Electronic Journal of Medical Research is dedicated to publishing rigorous, evidence-based research that advances medical science and improves global health. Under Professor Chan's leadership, the journal aims to further strengthen its editorial standards, expand its international reach, and promote multidisciplinary collaboration across the biomedical sciences.
